Clermont County Township Association

May 21, 2009

Pledge of Allegiance

Officers:

Tom Dix- Present; Lee Cornett- Present; Joyce Richardson – Present; TJ Corcoran - Absent

Treasurer’s Report – $ 15450.71.  Approved as presented.

Paul Ritchie did the Invocation.

The suggestion was made to give Anthony Munoz Foundation a contribution in lieu of Kids Voting which is no longer in existence.

Out of the Banquet committee the following suggestions were made:

Publicize the Association’s Good Works

Have a quarterly meeting of the banquet committee to discuss issues of the townships

Committee members to the Access Management Regulations for Clermont County are Bob McGee, Christopher Knoop and Karl Schultz.

Bob McGee made the motion; second by Harold Herron to have Karl Schultz and Guy Bainum on the Terrorism Advisory Board.

Lee Cornett gave each member a list of phone numbers of trustees.  It was much appreciated.  Lee also presented Joyce Richardson with a gift certificate and a box of candy for work on the banquet.

Dave Spinney reported that Public Works allocated more money to Dist. 10.  Applications to Tim Hershner should be completed by June.

Marty Lambert warned that swine flu my come back in the fall.  Mowing will be a six weeks project. She passed out a brochure of county recreation places for preview.

The speaker was from Arch Materials. The owner of the mine was present.

A census speaker addressed the importance of the census.

Ed Humphrey invited the trustees to a meeting on Broadband Connect Ohio on June 17 from 2-4 pm.
